Bruce Springsteen ‘Ill’ Postpones Philadelphia Shows

Due to Bruce Springsteen having been taken ill, his concerts with The E Street Band at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on August 16 and 18 have been postponed, according to an announcement on social media.

“We are working on rescheduling the dates so please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled shows,” the band announced.

This isn’t the first time Springsteen postponed dates on this tour. Earlier this year, Springsteen postponed three shows due to illness, including a show in Albany.

In April, Springsteen and Patti Scialfa both missed an appearance at the inaugural American Music Honors awards show — a fundraiser for the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University —due to Covid.
