Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Tops One Million Tickets for European Tour
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band blew up European ticket sales, surpassing one-million sold for the band’s 2023 tour dates, including just added shows across the continent, according to a statement announced today (June 8).
By popular demand, the band added second stadium dates in Barcelona (April 28 and 30), Paris (May 13 and 15), Amsterdam (May 25 and 27) and Oslo (June 30 and July 2), while third shows have been scheduled for Dublin (May 5, 7, 9) and Gothenburg (June 24, 26, 28). With the milestone in ticket sales, a new tour stop has also been added in Hockenheim, Germany for July 21. Shows in the UK and Belgium will be announced at a later date.
Demand is high for the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s return to the road since the conclusion of The River Tour in February 2017, a 14-month run named 2016’s top global tour by both Billboard and Pollstar. The tour will kick off in February 2023, with a run of soon-to-be announced dates.
Springsteen is clearly itching to get back in tour form early–just this past weekend he joined Coldplay at MetLife Stadium for a pair of songs, including “Working on a Dream” and a spare arrangement of “Dancing in the Dark” with Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin trading off verses.
