Belinda Carlisle Announces Summer Tour
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Belinda Carlisle is hitting the road this summer for a string of US tour dates, including a stop in New York City.
The ”Decades” tour will showcase the Go-Go’s front woman’s vast catalog comprised of more than twenty top-charting global singles from five solo albums which have reached gold, platinum and multi-platinum sales marks from the last 35 years. She will appear at Sony Hall in New York City on July 17.
“I’m halfway through my “Decades” UK tour as I write this and I’m having the best time playing these songs from my back catalogue for all my fans,” Carlisle said in a statement. “I can’t wait to come and do the same thing across the US this summer and I really hope to see some of you there”.
Carlisle recently collaborated with featuring Dolly Parton, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan & Debbie Harry, on the new single, “Gonna Be You” and just put the finishing touches on her forthcoming brand new EP, Kismet. This will be her first release of English language pop songs in over twenty five years, songs all written specifically for her by Oscar nominated, Grammy/Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning songwriter Diane Warren.
