Alice Cooper Set to Release Covid-19 Inspired Song

School may be out for summer, but Alice Cooper is busy coming up with a new message of hope for the Covid-19 pandemic.

Cooper is set to release a new single titled “Don’t Give Up.”  Arriving May 15, the song focuses on the challenges we’re all dealing with during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a video will feature fans contributing photos of themselves holding up the song lyrics.

“This is a way for fans, regular folks who might be at home with free time and no place to go, to do something fun and positive that they’ll remember from this quarantine time instead of just remembering being cooped up,” Cooper says in a statement.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer began recorded the song in Detroit and finished it remotely during the lockdown. The track was produced by his longtime collaborator, Bob Ezrin.

If you want to be in the video, instructions and complete lyrics have been posted at AliceCooper.com,
