Wag On Inn Rescue
Run by a group of dedicated volunteers, mostly located in Monmouth County, NJ, focused on rehoming dogs and cats of all ages and sizes.  Their dogs come from shelters in the local area and the south, owner surrenders in the area, and from rescues in Puerto Rico.  Wag On Inn Rescue does not have a shelter facility; our cats and dogs are kept in private foster homes primarily in Monmouth and northern Ocean counties, with just a few in boarding if necessary.  As part of the rehoming process, they work with the animals to rehabilitate them as necessary, including socializing with other animals and with people. All are spayed/neutered and microchipped before adoption, ensure that they are up to date with vaccines. The fostered animals are evaluated to see what type of a home they would do best in, based on energy level, temperament, and training needed. The goal is to try to match them to the best possible home that is appropriate for each companion.
