Pink Floyd To Sell Catalog, According to Report

Pink Floyd is now looking to cash in on the band’s song catalog, according to a report in Business Standard.

The band is looking to score of at least $500 million in a deal for their music catalog, one of the largest sales in music history. In addition to that, the band is rumored to be selling its recording and songwriting catalog, as well as the power to create merchandise based on the band, with Warner Brothers Records, Sony Music Entertainment and BMG looking to make a deal.

If the deal goes through, Pink Floyd will be among many recent artists like Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen to make similar deals.
