Peter Frampton, Cher, Rob Thomas Set For UNICEF Covid-19 Telethon

Do you believe in yet  ANOTHER virtual telethon? Grab a seat on your couch and fire up your laptop for an event benefiting UNICEF, streaming 8 p.m. Saturday night (May 9)  and featuring Cher, Peter Frampton, and Matchbox 20 front man Rob Thomas.

UNICEF Won’t Stop, which will highlight the organization’s COVID-19 relief efforts, will go live at UNICEFWontStop.org and on UNICEF USA’s YouTube channel.

Cher won’t be singing live (or recorded) however. The diva will debut the new video for her latest single: a Spanish language version of ABBA‘s “Chiquitita.”

The special also will feature appearances by ABBA‘s Björn Ulvaeus, Pink, Tea Leoni, Morgan Freeman, and American Idol Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks.
