Oscar Winner Russell Crowe Set to Rock the Stone Pony This Summer

The Stone Pony’s 50th Anniversary celebration just got bigger with the announcement that a major Hollywood star is coming this summer for a special performance.

“Gladiator” star Russell Crowe will bring his Indoor Garden Festival to the famed venue in Asbury Park on August 11.

The Oscar-winning actor describes the party as “a festival where I gather people I admire, musicians and storytellers, and we put on a show.”

Crowe’s backing band, The Gentlemen Barbers, features familiar faces from his days in Aussie rock groups 30 Odd Foot of Grunts and The Ordinary Fear of God.

Crowe is currently starring on the big screen in “The Exorcism,” s a 2024 supernatural horror film starring Crowe as Anthony Miller, an actor whose deteriorating mental state on a horror movie set causes his daughter Lee (Ryan Simpkins) to suspect either his former addictions or a more sinister cause.
