Looking for Holiday Light Displays? Check out the List

Looking for holiday cheer? A local real estate agency, The Garrett Team, has created a list of over 30 local light displays in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

In the spirit of the “Great Christmas Light Fight,” the agency has created a “Holiday Light List” adding new homes every day–from Pitney Avenue in Spring Lake, Downey Avenue in Brick to Carlson Court in Jackson–and says by the weekend there will be 40-50 more added to its list for people who want to check out displays throughout the state of New Jersey.

Speaking of the “Great Christmas Light Fight” on ABC, this Wednesday, Dec. 16, the show will feature a home from Hamilton, NJ, “Martels Christmas Wonderland.” The home features a dazzling light display, animatronics, toy trains, and walking in a wonderland set up in the backyard.

Here are the detail, according to Jason Garrett:

– We have an initial list of over 30 of the best displays, and we’ll be adding more everyday. We have about 40-50 more to add before the weekend and then we will add more as we get them! –

Any homes listed that have a  have been either been (1) driven by verified by us or one of our Santa’s Helpers (2) we’ve personally been in touch with the family running the display, or (3) they have an active FB/website for their display this year. If there’s no checkmark, we just haven’t verified it yet, but it’s probably there and probably awesome!

– You can search homes by county, town and also by things about the lights displays like families that are collecting donations for a cause at their display or those really cool ones that sync to music in your car. We may need 2-3 Santa’s Helpers to verify some of the displays we haven’t made it to over the next few days, let me know if you are interested!
