Lionel Richie and Earth Wind & Fire Announce ‘Sing a Song All Night Long’ Tour Date at Madison Square Garden

American Idol judge and newly inducted Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Lionel Richie is hitting the road this summer with Earth Wind & Fire, which includes two stops in the tri-state area, he announced today.

 The cleverly named “Sing a Song All Night Long” 20-city arena tour kicks off Friday, August 4th at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, with stops at Madison Square Garden in New York on Aug. 12 and the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia Aug. 15. The tour wraps September 15th at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

To date, Richie has sold over 125 million albums. In addition to being inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, he has won the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song by the Library Congress and was honored with the Icon Award at the American Music Awards. He recently extended his “Back to Las Vegas” residency at Wynn Encore Theater with a twenty-two-show engagement in 2022 and will continue the shows into 2023.

Earth Wind & Fire has sold 100 million albums worldwide and collected nine GRAMMY® Awards.

Tickets will be available starting with a Citi presale (details below) beginning Tuesday, March 7. The general onsale for the Sing A Song All Night Long tour will start Monday, March 13 at 10am local time at ticketmaster.com.
