KISS Guitarist Tommy Thayer Reveals Daughter

Being off the road due to the Covid-19 pandemic turned out to be a blessing for KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer, who discovered last summer he is the father of a daughter he never knew he had.

Thayer, 60, took to Instagram to reveal to his social media following the happy news.

“This is a big one… I’ve been waiting for the right time to tell everyone, ” Thayer, 60, wrote.
“My daughter Sierra and I were blessed to find each other last summer. We’ve already spent a lot of time since getting to know each other and creating a close bond. She’s a beautiful, sincere person and I couldn’t be happier. I think she feels the same about me. The most wonderful thing about miracles is that they sometimes happen.”

Thayer became involved with KISS in the late 1980’s, serving as a songwriter, musician, and documentarian. He officially replaced Ace Frehley in 2002.

Thayer recently played with KISS in Dubai on New Years Eve, and is available for birthday greetings on Cameo.
