Elton John to Host Virtual ‘Rocketman’ Watch Party

If you haven’t seen Elton John’s Rocketman yet, now is your chance to screen it with Sir Elton himself.

The film, which took home the Academy Award for Best Original Song, is streaming for free on Amazon Prime at 7 p.m. tonight, and you can follow along with Elton on his Twitter account for an official watch party.

If you really want to get Elton’s attention, use the hashtag #RocketmanWatchParty and upload photos of yourself wearing merch from the movie.

Sir Elton–who just earned the top spot in an Australian poll of favorite concert tours of all time–will share his behind the scenes insights as the movie progresses, possibly answering a question or two from fans looking for socially distant entertainment in the age of Covid-19.
