Downtown Freehold to Kick Off Weekly Summer Concert Series

Outdoor concerts presented by Downtown Freehold are back.

The summer season will start a little early with a performance by the Moroccan Sheepherders–who are celebrating 20 years as a band- on June 3. Country artist Stephen Martines –whose acting credits include General Hospital and The Vampire Diaries–will make a special appearance on Aug. 19.

All events–which include appearances by the Billy Joel tribute band, Turnstyles, Crosby Stills and Nash tribute CSY Songs and local favorites Eddie Testa Band and Mission Dance- will take place on Thursday night as part of the “Thursdays Rock” series from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m outside the Hall of Records on Main Street. Bring lawn chairs.
