David Lee Roth Cancels Las Vegas Residency Dates

David Lee Roth is bidding ‘Happy Trails’ to Las Vegas.

The former Van Halen front man is pulling the plug on the remaining dates of his residency at Las Vegas’ House of Blues. The run–his farewell to performing– was supposed to conclude Jan. 22.

“On Thursday, Roth’s reps announced he was pushing his New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day shows to February 11th and 12th, saying in a statement the decisions were, ‘Due to unforeseen circumstances related to COVID and out of an abundance of caution for those working and attending the shows.’ That announcement said refunds will be automatically processed, and ticket-holders will be notified directly,” reports The Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Roth alluded to the news in his usual way on social media, posting a drawing on his platforms of presumably a desolate Las Vegas strip, with the statement “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Las Vegas.”
