Bryan Adams, Ozzy Osbourne and More Earn Grammy Nominations

Canadian rocker Bryan Adams is up for a Grammy Award in the category of “Best Rock Performance” for his song, “So Happy It Hurts.”

Adams now has a total of 16 Grammy Award  nominations including a win for Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television for “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You” at the Grammy Awards in 1992

Adams is up against some heavy hitters, including Ozzy Osbourne and Jeff Beck for their pairing on “Patient Number 9,” Beck (“Old Man), The Black Keys (“Wild Child”), Brandi Carlile (“Broken Horses”), Turnstile (“Holiday”), and Idles (“Crawl”).

Idles -who are also up for Best Rock Album–made an appearance in September on the beach in Asbury Park at the Sea. Hear. Now festival, as did Wet Leg, who are up for three Grammy Awards in both Alternative Rock categories and Best New Artist, up against Italian rockers Maneskin.

Osbourne is also up for Best Rock Album for “Patient Number 9”, Best Metal Performance with Tony Iommi (“Degradation Rules”) and Best Rock Song (“Patient Number 9). The Red Hot Chili Peppers are also nominated for Best Rock Song for “Black Summer”).
