Bruce Springsteen Releases ‘Letter to You’ Documentary One Day Early

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band’s new documentary for the forthcoming album, “Letter to You,” arrived today (Oct. 22) on Apple TV+.

The film dropped shortly after Springsteen dropped a tweet just after 7 a.m on his Twitter account, writing:

Alright, E Streeters … enough waiting! @AppleTV, how about we release #LetterToYouFilm a little early?”

Then, two minutes later, he followed up with , “Let’s do this thing! 1… 2… 1, 2, 3…”

Directed by Thom Zimny, “Bruce Springsteen’s Letter to You” is a documentary about the making of the new album, recorded in the studio in just under five days with Springsteen and the E Street Band. Zimny will join Tom Cunningham this Sunday at 9 a.m. for a special edition of “Springsteen on Sunday” October 25.

Springsteen’s Letter to You album will still be released on Oct. 23.
