Bon Jovi Keyboardist David Bryan and Matt O’Ree Team Up for Drive-In Concert

Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan may not be touring with his main gig in 2020, but the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will get behind the piano for a special drive-in concert with the Matt O’ Ree Band October 30 at Bayonet Farm in Holmdel.

The Matt O’Ree Band will perform their first live concert since the global pandemic shut down all the music venues as the main attraction of the Holmdel PBA Fall Fest, which will also include various vendors. 

The show will feature new original music, plus a Led Zeppelin set.

Matt O’Ree is the original Guitar Center King of the Blues winner. An inductee into the NY/NJ Blues Hall of Fame, he has toured with Bon Jovi as the second guitarist, and also collaborated with Bruce Springsteen, David Bryan and Steve Cropper on the band’s record: Brotherhood. Eryn O’Ree is the youngest inductee into the New Jersey Blues Hall of Fame, and sang with Smashing Pumpkins on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

The concert will take place at 7 pm with a rain date of November 1s. Gates open at 5:30 pm and the concert kicks off at 7:00 pm. Bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit on the grass outside cars. which will be staggered to allow for social distancing. Classic cars are also welcome. The event is BYOB.

Tickets are on sale at mattoreeband.com for $100 per vehicle. It will be a much-needed night of socially distant togetherness. There is limited parking, so purchase your tickets early.
