Beach Badge Guide for Summer 2023

Memorial Day Weekend is less than two weeks away, and beach badge sales are on sale now.

Deal is the most expensive beach badge at $150, with Sea Bright at $100 and Ocean Grove at $95. However, there are more affordable options and if you purchase a seasonal badge in May and June, some towns offer a discount.

 Many beaches offer free or reduced fees to children, senior citizens, veterans and active military members. Other beach towns have parking fees.

Here are the lists of local Monmouth and Ocean Beaches:

Asbury Park

• $6 daily weekday, $9 weekends and holidays
• $70 seasonal
• $20 for seniors age 62+, youth adults 13-17
• Children 12 and younger are free
• Veterans and active military members are free

Avon-by-the-Sea

• $12 daily
• $55 seasonal for seniors age 65+ and young adults 12-18
• $100 seasonal
• Children 11 and younger are free

Barnegat Light

• $5 daily
• $22 weekly
• $45 seasonal ($35 if bought by June 6)
