107.1 The Boss and New Jersey Natural Gas are excited to highlight nonprofit organizations throughout the Jersey Shore through 'Make A Difference Mondays'. Every Monday morning, we will be highlighting a different Nonprofit that “Makes A Difference” in our community, via an on-air interview. During these insightful interviews we will be discussing how these nonprofits are bringing great things to the community, helping neighbors and how you too can get involved.

But, girls need all types of role models in their lives, including father figures who step up to support their Girl Scout interests. Man Enough to be A Girl Scout recognizes that men who are troop leaders, cookie dads, behind-the-scenes volunteers and general members are crucial to a girl’s success and the success of Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.  This program encourages men to become adult members and offers opportunities to take part in special events with our Girl Scouts.
  5. Fall Product Sales – Our Fall Product Program begins September 29th and combines educational activities for girls along with money earning opportunities for troops. Girls sell nuts, candy and magazines as they develop 5 core life skills: money management, people skills, goal setting, decision making, and good business ethics. www.gsFun.org/manenough
  6. Summer Camp – Camp Amity Acres in Waretown and Camp Sacajawea in Farmingdale offer girls extraordinary outdoor experiences and have become a fundamental part of the Girl Scout experience.  When girls spend quality time outdoors, they thrive physically, emotionally, and intellectually, while creating friendships and memories to last a lifetime. We just wrapped up 10 weeks of camp for the 2023 season and will launch our 2024 camp registration on October 1st! Visit www.gsFun.org/camp for information.
