‘Make a Difference Mondays’ Presented By New Jersey Natural Gas
107.1 The Boss and New Jersey Natural Gas are excited to highlight all the good things that nonprofit organizations throughout the Jersey Shore offer the community through 'Make A Difference Mondays'. Every Monday morning, we will be highlighting a different Nonprofit that “Makes A Difference” in our community, via an on-air interview. During these insightful interviews we will be discussing how these nonprofits are bringing great things to the community, helping neighbors and how you too can get involved.

On this 'Make a Difference Monday', we are talking to Britany Ascolese Of POAC Autism Services!
POAC Autism Services, a nonprofit organization, provides critical support to individuals with autism in New Jersey. Each year, they offer hundreds of events, including training for parents, educators, and first responders, recreational services for families, and police training that helps save lives. Thousands of parents, teachers, and first responders have been trained, and school assemblies raise awareness about autism statewide. These efforts are made possible through fundraising and donations, ensuring POAC's commitment to improving the lives of children and adults with autism each day.
Check out upcoming events (poac.net/events), as they offer recreational activities for individuals with autism and their families. Additionally, explore the training section on poac.net, where you can find workshops and conferences that may be of interest to you.
