Watch a Sneak Peek of the New Foreigner Musical: Jukebox Hero (Video)

The new Foreigner musical, Jukebox Hero, is set to debut in Toronto, Canada next February, 2019, and we have some new details.

The story of the show incorporates the band’s hits– “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Cold as Ice,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” “Hot Blooded,” “Urgent,” “Head Games,” “Feels Like the First Time” and”Juke Box Hero”-and tells the tale of a rock star, Ryan Perry, who returns to his hometown of Blaydon, Pennsylvania. Perry is asked to play a benefit to help financially struggling families, which leads to his own journey facing his demons from the past.

The show-written by Ian La Frenais and Dick Clement,– will officially premiere in  Toronto’s Ed Mirvish Theatre, beginning with a newly added February 20 performance and running through February 24. Two shows apiece will be held on the 23rd and 24th. Tickets are on sale now at

Foreigner will appear this week in Atlantic City (Nov. 30) at Boardwalk Hall. The band will also appear May  at The Count Basie Center for The Arts in Red Bank.
