Slash Moving On From Marriage
Nothing lasts forever, as the song goes, and guitarist Slash says he wants to “move on with his life” after he closes the chapter on his costly divorce.
According to court documents, Slash is going to pay his soon-to-be ex-wife Perla Ferrar $100,000 per month in spousal support until death or remarriage. The Guns N’ Roses guitarist will also fork over $6,627,352 equalization within 30 days of the judgement getting signed off.
He will also pay $39,000 per month in child support. The children will also collect 1.8% of Slash’s income until the year 2036.
What’s he get to keep? According to The Blast, Slash will retain interest in all his trademarks and residuals, a slew of fully-loaded bank accounts, his entire collection of guitars and instruments, along with a 2011 Ford F-150.
In case you were wondering what a rock and roll guitarist earns a month, Slash listed his monthly income as $345,000.
