Sammy Hagar Announces Season 5 of Rock and Roll Road Trip
Sammy Hagar will be hitting the road again–on television!
Sammy’s AXS TV Show–“Sammy Hagar’s Rock and Roll Road Trip” returns to your TV screens on April 19, and his guests include Def Leppard, Joe Walsh, Queen‘s Brian May, Ted Nugent, Matchbox Twenty‘s Rob Thomas and Extreme, whose frontman, Gary Cherone, replaced Hagar in Van Halen in 1996.
The premiere finds the Red Rocker in Las Vegas checking out Def Lep’s residency followed by a bit to eat at Shaquille O’Neal’s restaurant Big Chicken.
In a chat with Hagar, Elliott reveals that “the song is the boss,” when it comes to picking music.
April 26 find’s Sammy on stage with Rob Thomas at a Santana show performing the hit, “Smooth.”
We have an absolute blast producing this show each year, visiting incredible locations to sit down with some of the most legendary entertainers of all time,” says Hagar. “This is a dream come true for me, traveling the country to hang out and play music with my friends, and I am excited to show our fans all the epic things we have planned in season five.”
Six additional episodes of Rock & Roll Road Trip will air in 2020. The show airs Sunday nights on AXS TV.
