Roger Daltrey Take ‘Pot’ Shot at Weed Smoking Fan at Madison Square Garden Who Show (Video)

A word to the wise if you are going to see The Who in Philadelphia May 25 at Citizens Bank Park and don’t want to tick off Roger Daltrey: leave the weed at home.

Daltrey is allergic to marijuana smoke, and even the slightest whiff of smoke is enough to seriously mess with his usually pristine vocals. And if THAT happens, the Who front man will get angry. And you won’t like him when he’s angry, as a fan found out Monday night (May 13) at Madison Square Garden.

As Daltrey was wrapping The Who’s set at the Garden, he took a moment to address the culprit in a very stern way, as was captured in a fan video.

“All the ones smoking grass down in the front there, I’m totally allergic to it,” Daltrey chastised.  “I’m not kidding, whoever it is down there, you f–ed my night and you made me really…I’m allergic to that shit and my voice just goes [makes noise] It sucks up. So f–k you.”

And if you are planning your beach reads for the summer, don’t forget Daltrey’s memoir, “Thanks a Lot Mr. Kibblewhite,” is available now.
