Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to Unveil New Exhibit

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio is only two nights away, and the Hall is celebrating Friday (April 13) with the unveiling of a brand new interactive exhibit, The Hall of Fame Experience.

The new exhibit will inhabit an entire floor at the hall, and will feature new interactive voting stations that give visitors the opportunity to voice their choice for which artists should be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the future. Additionally, visitors will be treated to the new Shine a Light: New Acquisitions and Spotlight Artifacts, a showcase of the Rock Hall’s newest acquisition. The exhibit will honor the Class of 2018 inductees, including Bon Jovi, The Cars, The Moody Blues and Dire Straits.

“We’ve not had a formal space dedicated to the inductees in this grand of a fashion and it’s fitting a because this is the spot where they’re memorialized forever,” Greg Harris, CEO of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame CEO tells 107.1 The Boss. “We’re really excited to unveil it.”

Of course, being an inductee has its perks: former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora already took a tour. The guitar God performed last week at a special show with his musical soulmate, Orianthi, for a concert kicking off a the induction week of activities in Cleveland gearing up for the big night on Saturday night.

“Oh yeah, he took a walk through, ” Harris says. ” He’s a huge music fan himself [so] we gave him a sneak peek.”
