Queen’s Brian May, Trent Reznor, Harry Styles, Duran Duran Announced as Presenters at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony
It’s Official: Def Leppard will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Queen guitarist Dr. Brian May.
Def Lep guitarists Vivian Campbell and Phil Collen already dropped hints that May was the one to do the honors at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony, which will take place March 29 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
“Brian is one of my biggest influences. I love him. I just can’t get over how amazing he is. And we all do — we’re huge QUEEN fans and Brian fans,” said Collen in a previous interview.
Also on the list of presenters: One Direction alum Harry Styles will induct Stevie Nicks. Styles has history with the Fleetwood Mac icon–he performed with the band at the 2018 MusicCares benefit at Radio City Music Hall.
Also confirmed–Simon LeBon and John Taylor of Duran Duran are on tap to induct Roxy Music.
Other presenters include: Janelle Monáe presenting for Janet Jackson, Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails presenting for The Cure, David Byrne presenting for Radiohead, and Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles presenting for The Zombies.
The Ceremony will once again exclusively premiere on HBO on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 8 p.m. EST and will honor this year’s inductees: The Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music, and The Zombies.
