Queen Biopic Set for Digital and Blu-Ray Release; Includes Unreleased Footage
If you missed the Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, in theaters, the movie will be available for digital streaming on Jan. 22 and on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD disc Feb. 12.
Fans will also get bonus footage of a full recreation of Queen’s legendary Live Aid set London’s Wembley Stadium in 1985.
The 22-minute performance includes footage of the actors –including Golden Globe nominee Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury–portraying Queen with a side-by-side comparison of the actual concert. The scene also includes two songs not featured in the scene shown in the movie: “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” and “We Will Rock You.” Additionally, the release features behind-the-scenes segments Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor talking about the creation of the film.
