Pearl Jam Announces MSG Tour Date; New Album
Pearl Jam will release a new album, Gigaton, in 2020, and will spend the first half of the year on the road promoting it on tour, with a stop at Madison Square Garden on March 30, the band announced today.
Gigaton arrives March 27, with a new single, “Dance of the Clairvoyants,” set for release.
“Making this record was a long journey,” said guitarist Mike McCready in a statement. “It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on ‘Gigaton’ ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”
A “Verified Fan” presale for the tour dates goes on sale Jan. 23 through Ticketmaster, and a general sale for remaining tickets happens Jan. 24.
