New Tom Petty Box Set Arriving in November

Hot on the heels of the release of An American Treasure comes another Tom Petty box set, which will be released Nov. 16.

Titled The Best of Everything, the new compilation offers the first-ever career-spanning collection of songs. The set includes his work with The HeartbreakersMudcrutch and as a solo artist. Two  previously unreleased tracks — an alternate version of the 1985 Petty and the Heartbreakers tune “The Best of Everything” featuring an unheard second verse, and a moving, autobiographical tune called “For Real”–round out the collection.

The album will be available as a two-CD set and a digital download, and will feature 38 tracks, including all of Petty’s classic hits and more. A vinyl set will be released on Dec. 7 in clear and black vinyl.
