Mid-day personality Michele Amabile recently had the pleasure of speaking to Ian Hunter of Mott the Hoople ahead of his show at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park on May 19th.
The interview covered a lot of ground, including his memories of David Bowie, bringing Queen to America, the E Street Band connection, and his fantastic new record, Fingers Crossed.
“It was a crazy band. There was no leader,” he tells The Boss of Mott The Hoople. “Everyone was a star in that band.”
Hunter also has several connections to New Jersey, which he also discussed in the interview.
