Glenn Frey Not Worth Millions, says Doctor

Glenn Frey would have earned $12 million had a doctor not misdiagnosed his ailments, according to a lawsuit filed by Frey’s widow, Cyndi.

Frey is suing  gastroenterologist Dr. Steven Itzkowitz, claiming he was negligent in treating the Eagles founder’s ulcerative colitis in 2015. The doctor is contesting it, saying she has not provided financial records proving he would have earned that much had he lived beyond 67. Frey is countering that the records were not disclosed because he had not signed a confidentiality agreement.

New Eagles Box Set Arrives in November

The documents in the wrongful death suit states the doctor failed to “promptly and properly assess the patient for respiratory issues” and ignored an infection, reports Page Six.

“As a result of his death, his family was deprived of his care, guidance and support, and they have suffered pecuniary damage,” the suit says.

The case will be heard in court next week.

The Eagles toured in 2018 with Frey’s son, Deacon, playing guitar and singing his father’s best known songs.
