David Bowie Vinyl Box Set Announced; Iman Pays Tribute

Tomorrow (Jan. 10) marks three years to the day we lost David Bowie, two days after what would have been his 72nd birthday.

Bowie’s memory will be celebrated this spring with the release of a new box set–Spying Through a Keyhole (Demos and Unreleased Songs)–of seven-inch vinyl discs featuring nine rare early demos.

home demo recordings that Bowie made solo, accompanying himself on acoustic guitar. The tracks include two demo versions of “Space Oddity,” with  one that could be the first-ever recording of the song.

Yesterday (June 8) on Twitter, Bowie’s widow, Iman, posted two sweet remembrances of the icon, writing:  “My memory loves you. It asks about you all the time.”

The second features two photos of David and Iman, tagged: “Jan 8th Eternal Memories, Eternal Love #BowieForever.”
