Bruce Springsteen Reveals ‘Western Stars’ Documentary and E Street News in Rome

Bruce Springsteen is spending the holiday weekend in Rome, Italy and he took the time to speak to the Italian newspaper Repubblica to share a little news about his forthcoming album as well as future touring plans.

When asked about the soon-to-be released, Western Stars, Springsteen revealed that there is more in store for fans.

“We also filmed a documentary which includes the whole recording process, from the beginning to the end, at my house,” he said.

The album, he shared, is “made up of a lot of small stories that take place in the West of the United States.”

When asked about the possibility of a tour, Springsteen was optimistic, particularly about 2020.

“We will go on tour next year,” he said. “I’ll record with the E Street Band in autumn, and, when we are done, we will go on tour.”

Springsteen is in Rome supporting daughter, Jessica, as she competed at the CSIIO  Equestrian Event in Piazza di Siena.

Springsteen is set to release Western Stars–which includes singles “Hello Sunshine” and “There Goes My Miracle,” on July 14.

In other news, Springsteen’s at it again on Instagram and Twitter, teasing another track, “Tucson Train.” Check out the photo below:
