Bruce Springsteen Drops Video for New Song, “Tuscon Train” (Video)
Bruce Springsteen has dropped a video for the third single from his forthcoming album, Western Stars, due June 14.
The track, “Tuscon Train,” features a lonely violin, and tells the tale of a man waiting for a lover to return. The song is follows “Hello Sunshine,” and “There Goes My Miracle,” following a theme Springsteen describes as little stories about “the West.”
“I come here lookin’ for a new life, one I wouldn’t have to explain,” Springsteen sings as he strums a guitar. “To that voice that keeps me awake at night, when a little peace would make everything right, if I could just turn off my brain.”
The black and white video, directed by Thom Zimny, features a studio performance of the song with Springsteen, wife Patti Scialfa, his band, and a gaggle of orchestral musicians.
In recent Springsteen news, the New Jersey native confirmed he will begin work on an E Street Band album and is eyeing a tour in 2020.
