Bret Michaels is getting into the holiday spirit with the release of his first ever Christmas single.
The Poison frontman has recorded a new version of “Jingle Bells,” and will premiere it on Nov. 17. The song will be available as a digital single and through streaming, reports his website.
Michaels says he is feeling the holiday love so much that he is already eyeing 2018 as his year for more yuletide cheer.
“It was such an awesome experience that I plan to have a full-length release of holiday music next year,” he writes.
A portion of the proceeds is earmarked for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Michaels will continue to play rock and roll Santa Claus through his annual holiday fundraiser with his Life Rock’s Foundation.
