Billy Idol and Elvis Costello to Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Stars
Billy Idol and Elvis Costello will both receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2020.
Idol announced the news on his social media accounts, writing: “Honored…2 receive a [star] on the #Hollywoodwalkoffame inducted along with some amazing people in the class of 2020.”
Others to be honored include: Muddy Waters, Mahershala Ali, Laurence Fishburne, Chris Hemsworth, Spike Lee, Julia Roberts, Octavia Spencer, Christina Applegate, Andy Cohen, Cindy Crawford, Dave Chappelle, Terry Crews, Kathie Lee Gifford, Burt Ward, Wendy Williams, Dr. Phil McGraw and the late Andy Kaufman, as well as the caped crusader himself, “Batman.”
Idol is set to appear with Bryan Adams at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Aug. 10. Costello will tour with Blondie, with a tour stop planned for July 27 at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden.
