Babe, I’m Leaving: Dennis DeYoung Announces ‘Last’ Solo Album

Former Styx singer/keyboardist Dennis DeYoung took to Facebook to announce he has begun work on his latest solo album–which is also his last.

DeYoung–who released the album, One Hundred Years From Now in 2009–also revealed a few details on the record.

“I’ve been meticulous with this project because of the importance you guys place upon it and the simple fact that this will most likely be my last.”

He adds, “Never thought I would be recording at 71 so to me this is all extra credit. I promise it will be good one.”

In an earlier Facebook post, Dennis reveals that one song on the upcoming album was co-written with founding Survivor and Ides of March member Jim Peterik.

DeYoung is hitting the road for a fresh round of dates, including an April 26 stop at the St. George Theatre in Staten Island, New  York.
