Asbury Park Music + Film Festival Postponed Due to Coronavirus Concerns
Due to COVID-19 concerns, The Asbury Music + Film Festival, which was originally set for April 23-April 26–will be postponed, according to Festival organizers.
The festival–which was scheduled to take place in Asbury Park venues and featured appearances by Melissa Etheridge and Sopranos creator David Chase–will be moved to a future date.
“The Asbury Park Music + Film Festival’s unwavering commitment to provide music education to underserved kids in and around Asbury Park is still our priority,” said organizers in a statement. “With that in mind, we are working on rescheduling events for the summer, and all previously purchased tickets will be honored.
New dates will be announced in the near future.
Whether or not the festival will include Etheridge remains to be seen, but the entertainer has been live on Facebook performing living room concerts nightly at 6 p.m., promising fans that the dates postponed will be made up at a later time.
For those unable to attend, refunds will be available upon announcement of these new dates.
