Asbury Lanes to Hold Benefit to Combat Australian Brushfires

Asbury Park will transform into “Aus-Bury Park” this Sunday (Jan. 12) at Asbury Lanes, as the local community will band together to help the  Australian Red Cross fight the devastating brushfires across Australia.

“Greetings from Aus-bury Park,” which begins at 3 p.m., will be an afternoon filled with traditional Australian food and games accompanied by live music, local DJs, and a silent auction.

The group effort includes donations from the Asbury Hotel, Rebel Supply Co., Catsbury Park, and more, who contributed prizes to the the silent auction portion of the event. A variety of Australian cuisine, including meat pies from The Flying
Pie Guy food truck outside the venue, will be available, as well as a sausage sizzle, fairy bread, and more Australian fare.
Musical guests include DJ sets from Mick Hale, Atom Worth, and DJ Values, along with live music from Connor Bracken and a set from Des & the Swagmatics.

If you are unable to attend the event, you can still donate by texting the word “AUSSIE” to (287743) to 91999.
