Aldi Announces Def Leppard, GNR, and ’80s Cheeses
If you are planning the snacks for your Grammy Awards party this Sunday, make sure you stop by ALDI and pick up some rocking themed cheese, according to Delish.com.
Launching this Wednesday (Feb. 6), Aldi is launching a new line of cheese named for ’80s bands. For those of us rooting for the rock category at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, there is Guns N’ Roses “Sweet Cheddar of Mine. Future Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Def Leppard are represented as well as fans can “Pour Some Gouda on Me” (pair that with Def Lep’s Elysian Pale Brew for a tasty combo).
Other treats include a nod to Wham! with “Wake Me Up Before You Goat Goat”, Cyndi Lauper” is treated to “Girls Just Wanna Have Fontina,” Michael Jackson’s homage insists that “Billy Goat is Not My Lover” and Bonnie Tyler is celebrated with “Total Eclipse of the Havarti.” (Honestly, that last one we could have used for the eclipse).
Each variety will be priced at $3.49.
