Aerosmith Walk of Fame Ceremony Postponed Due to Severe Weather
Aerosmith’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony was postponed yesterday (Feb. 14) due to severe weather. The group was scheduled to receive a star on the famed walk, but Mother Nature had other plans.
“FOLKS, WE TRIED TO GET OUR STAR TODAY…BUT [IT’S] UNDERWATER AND WE FORGOT OUR SCUBA GEAR!!” Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler wrote on Twitter. “NEW DATE FOR @HWDWALKOFFAME COMING SOON!! STAY TUNED AND STAY DRY! WE LOVE AND THANK YOU ALL!”
Actress Sharon Stone–who attended as a guest at Tyler’s Grammy Party benefit for his charity, Janie’s Fund–was a guest speaker for the event.
“We are currently working on another date to reschedule this special event. Stay tuned for the announcement of the new rescheduled date to celebrate Aerosmith with their well deserved ‘Walk of Fame’ Ceremony,” announced the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Aerosmith is set to kick off kick off its first-ever Las Vegas residency, dubbed Deuces Are Wild, on April 6 at Park Theater at the new Park MGM resort
