Aerosmith Announces ‘Aerosmith World’ Residency in Las Vegas
Aerosmith revealed details of the worst kept secret in rock with the announcement of the band’s 2019 “Deuces Are Wild” Las Vegas residency this morning on NBC’s Today Show.
“We decided to do Vegas. Viva Las Aerosmith,” front man Steven Tyler exclaimed on the live broadcast. “First we are going to move there. Then we are going to go shopping there.”

Guitarist Joe Perry added, “We wanted to bring in there that we really can’t do on the road on a regular tour. So we want to bring a show that still has Aerosmith and all the guts of Aerosmith but has a whole other element to it.”
“We’re going to keep it raw,” Tyler said.
The show will bring fans into “Aerosmith World,” according to drummer Joey Kramer. The dates will commence at Park MGM’s Park Theater beginning April 6th, 2019 and currently runs through July 9th. The residency promises “never-seen-before visuals and audio from Aerosmith recording sessions,” with Aerosmith working with producer Giles Martin – the son of George Martin and the soundscape architect of The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil – on the stage show.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Aug. 16) through the band’s “Aero Force One” fan club. Tickets for the general public go on sale Aug. 24. Dates include:
April 2019: 6, 8, 11, 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 26
June 19, 22, 24, 27, 29
July 2, 4, 7, 9
Fans were excited to see the band–maybe too excited–as one overzealous fan tried to snap a photo with Steven Tyler as he made his way to the stage. Steven was not amused:
